There are many facets to my work, drawing is fundamental to my visual artwork which informs the mixed media work I produce. I have a passion for colour and the various effects that can be created by the combination of colour and the experimentation and combination of media. The process of working with different media, and creating something unique and beautiful, is what I thrive on. I am fascinated by the colours and shapes around me, from the vastness of a landscape, to the smallest flower or seed head, and am often drawn to subjects with layers, and depth and changes in light.I love the various methods you can use to make marks and apply colour to any surface, starting from an understanding of the subject through observation and interest through to an expression of the topic using various media.

I have a fascination with Mosaic, the wonderful array of materials that can be used; found materials, bright glass tiles and beads,  you can mosaic with almost anything.

My projects vary between small handmade items which i sell through local outlets and directly at different events ( details in my blog and events page) to bespoke pieces for private clients, or school projects.
